An account of the Sixth International Conference of Caribbean Women Writers and Scholars at the Renaissance Resort in Grenada. The conference featured the launch of MaComère, the Association’s journal, Volume 1. The left image depicts Minister for Legal Affairs, Hon Raphael Fletcher, receiving a copy of the journal from Carole Boyce-Davies (Vice President). The gathering also featured remarks from the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Ms. Jeannette Dubois, Dr. Fletcher, and Helen Pyne-Timothy (ACWWS founder and President).
